My name is Casey Leigh Miller but you can call me Casey. No need to acknowledge the middle name which I have never really been a fan of, pretty much ever.

Writing has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. I have journals filled from kindergarten (my first 'diary' was turquoise and fuschia and featured Simba and Nala from The Lion King on the front) all the way up until now. I truly feel that writing is therapeutic and good for the soul, and the great thing about blogging? It connects me with people! Another passion of mine: getting to know others and meeting new friends. That's why I really want to thank you for taking the time to visit!
I was raised in Minnesota, graduated from high school in 2007 and most recently accomplished graduating from college - Bethel University, to be exact - with degrees in Education and History. While I truly enjoy teaching and being in the classroom, I am currently searching, or rather, seeking, to figure out what I would like to make a career.

I am the oldest of three kids. I currently live at home in Minnesota with my parents, my brother, and my 'pseudo-brother' Moses, who is actually an 80 pound yellow lab. My family means the world to me and I am loving this time of being home and living with them while I am still able. I also am dating a wonderful, handsome young man named Dusty who I just think the world of. My family and my guy are two topics that you can find me writing about QUITE often.

If I'm not blogging, I'm probably reading, watching the latest thing added to Netflix, eating out at any restaurant (my guilty pleasure), or working with the elderly residents of a local nursing home.
